Mother Earth's Farm, started as a worm farm, called VermiCulture Northwest, which is now growing edible flowers, salad greens and traditional vegetables, in organic soil amendment from composting with worms, without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.  As a worm farmer, organic, sustainable agriculture methods just seemed like a natural way to go.  The mission for the farm became one of spreading the information about how to recycle by composting with worms.  The resulting casting material, (which is used to produce an organic soil amendment), and natural/organic fertilizers have a positive effect on building a healthy soil.  A healthy soil means healthy food. 

Mother Earth's Farm has a greenhouse environment where the product from worm  composting or vermicompost (castings or worm manure) is used to produce naturally safe food by growing in organic soil without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
